The perfect place for a sun holiday
Perfect destination for a sun holiday that can be combined with safaris to the principal game parks of East Africa. Only 45km from Mombasa where you nneed to take the ferry (a colourful experience when it’s your first time) to get to the South Coast. Villa Bahati is only 7 minutes walking to the beaautiful beach, located near Galu Beach which is the southern extension of the well known Diani Beach. Here you find Kenya’s premier hotels and resortss. Traditional thatched roof ensures that the villa remains cool in the hottest weather. Guests enjoy the use of the community pool (only used by guessts of 2 other houses on the compound). The villa is staffed with a full time cook/housekeeper and a part time gardener. The staff do not live on the premises. At night security is assured by a guard on the property, supplemented by remote alarms in the main rooms (which we never had to use before……!). Villa Bahati is the perfect place to stay for a honeymoon, family with children, 2 couples,…

Regarding accessability, the kithchen, masterr bedroom, shower room and toilet (seperated from the shower room) are located on the ground floor.The kitchen is fully equiped. The master bed room hhas 1 kingsize bed. The second bedroom is located in the gallery, reached by stairs. This bedroom has 2 kingsize beds and the gallery also has a nice balcony where you can enjoy a nice breeze. Very nice for a sundowner. The cook/housekeeper will, on request, prepare and serve meals using supplies pprovided by the guests. His working hours are 8.00am-5.00pm with one hour break. Monday to Friday, half day Saturday, off Sunday. Overtime can be requuested but is not compulsory. The hourly rate is KShs250 per hour, payable to the staff on completion of the overtime (daily, not at the end of the hooliday). Our local agent will purchase on your behalf an initial supply of food and beverages. She will also guide you to the nearest supermarkets, reestaurants and bars. She can also advise on car hire and safari arrangements if these have not been organised in advance. To go to the nearest supermaarkets, restaurants and bars, you can use a rental car. We also can recommend reliable local taxi compagnies. Or you can use the matatu, a very cheap,, small, local buss. Facilities for tourists include an 18 hole golf course, scuba diving and snorkelling, deep sea fishing and day trips by sailing bboat or jet ski along the coast. Possible day trips include Shimba Hills Park (for the elephants) and old town Mombasa that is a world heritage site ((Fort Jesus and the Arab influenced buildings). Your beach holiday can be combined with road safaris to Amboseli or Tsavo. The more adventurous can flly by light aircraft from Diani to Masai Mara or the Serengeti. All can be arranged through local agents prior to departure from Europe.

Comfortabele villa met 2 slaapkamers en zwembad
Villa Bahati is de perfecte bestemming voor een zonvakantie die kan gecombineerd worden met safaris naar de belangrijkste wildparken van Oost-Afrika.<
Het traditionele Makuti Roof zorgt ervoor dat de villa koel blijft, zelfs tijdens heel warm weer. Het zwembad, dat in het verlengde van de tuin liigt, wordt nog gebruikt door gasten van 2 andere huizen. Er is dagelijks onderhoud van het zwembad en ligt er altijd vlekkeloos bij.
Er is dagelijkks een kok/huisbewaarder aanwezig en 3 dagen per week is er een tuinman aanwezig. Het personeel woont niet op het domein. 's Nachts is er een nachtwaccht aanwezig. De kok bereidt, indien u dit wenst, ontbijt en lunch (boodschappen dienen door de gasten zelf gedaan te worden). Hij werkt dagelijks vann 08.00 tot 17.00, met één uur pauze. Dit van maandag tot vrijdag. De zaterdag van 08.00 tot 01.00. Op zondag is hij vrij. Hij kan, indien gewenst, ovverwerken (te betalen aan KShs 250 per uur). Onze lokale agente geeft u alle nodige uitleg over de dichtstbijgelegen supermarkten, restaurants, bars, autoverhuring, safari-arrangementen.
Villa Bahati ligt tegen Galu Beach, wat het meest zuidelijke verlengde is van Diani Beach. U kunt gebruik makken van een huurwagen of wij kunnen u gegevens van tal van betrouwbare taxidiensten doorgeven.
Op het gelijkvloers bevindt zich één slaapkamer met kingsize-bed, badkamer, toilet (apart) en volledig ingerichte keuken. De veranda kijkt uit op de prachtige tuin en is zalig om te relaxen. Tevens taffel met stoelen aanwezig voor 6 personen. Op het eerste verdiep bevinden zich 2 kingsize-bedden en een balkon met prachtig uitzicht.
